KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team competed at the ITA Central Region Championships in Kalamazoo Sept. 21-24.

Friday's Highlights

Maddy Winarski won her first two singles matches to advance to Saturday's Round of 32.

The doubles teams of Sonal Bahl/Helen Pelak and Caroline Norton/Maddy Winarski each won their first round match to advance to Saturday's Round of 32.

Saturday's Highlights

Caroline Norton won three matches in the backdraw to advance to Sunday's backdraw quarterfinals.

Bella Russo and Helen Pelak each won one match in the backdraw.

Ella Knight and Maya Srkalovic won one doubles match in the backdraw.

Caroline Norton was defeated in the backdraw quarterfinals by Megan Hickey (Denison).
