KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Ohio Wesleyan University 7-2 inside the Markin Center on Saturday.

Kalamazoo led 2-1 after doubles following wins by Laura Hanselman/Caroline Norton at one and Sonal Bahl/Ella Knight at two.

Ohio Wesleyan won the first singles match to even the score at 2-2, but Kalamazoo won the final five matches to claim the win.

Winning in singles were: Maddy Winarski (2), Helen Pelak (3), Caroline Norton (4), Sonal Bahl (5), and Ella Knight (6).

Kalamazoo (1-1) returns to action Sunday afternoon against Denison at 2:30 p.m.
