Kalamazoo College competed in the Hope Invitational to begin its season this past weekend.

Laura Hanselman and Caroline Norton played as the fourth seed in the A doubles bracket and finished with a 2-2 record. Maddy Winarski paired with Lauren Marshall in doubles play and the duo finished the weekend with a 2-0 record.

Hanselman, Winarski, and Norton each tallied 2-1 records in singles play as Norton defeated the fifth seed in one of her two wins.

The Hornets now turn their attention to the ITA Central Regional which is in Kalamazoo Sept. 19-21.
