Women's Tennis Narrowly Defeated by Wooster

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team was narrowly defeated 5-4 by the College of Wooster Saturday inside the Markin Center.

Wooster won two of the three doubles matches. Wooster and Kalamazoo split the first two singles matches to come off the court giving the Scots a 3-2 advantage. Wooster won the next two singles matches to clinch the match.

Laura Hanselman and Sophie Zhuang won 8-3 at one doubles.

Ella Knight (6-4, 6-1), Meghan Killmaster (6-4, 6-4), and Bella Russo (6-1, 6-3) won in straight sets at four, five, and six singles, respectively.

Kalamazoo is back in action at home next Saturday, Feb. 29, against Lake Forest College.
