Women's Tennis Defeats Saint Mary's

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team defeated Saint Mary's 7-2 at Stowe Stadium on Saturday. Kalamazoo won two of the three doubles matches and five of the six singles matches.

Caroline Norton and Renee Torres won 8-3 at two doubles. Maddie Hurley and Meghan Killmaster won 8-2 at three doubles.

Norton (1), Maddy Winarski (2), Torres (4), and Hurley (5) won in straight sets in singles with Norton winning the match-clinching point. Helen Pelak won 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 at three singles.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to be back in action Wednesday, April 21 at Albion.
