KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team hosted the ITA Central Regionals Sept. 24-26.
Kalamazoo Doubles Results
Caroline Norton and Maddie Hurley won their opening match 8-0 over Erin Brezovar/Bailey Higgins (Webster). The Hornets were defeated 8-0 by No. 5 Randi Hendricks/Katherine Johnson (WashU) Saturday morning.
Kalamazoo Singles Results
Caroline Norton was defeated in her first match 7-6(5), 6-3 by Margaret Bugnzacki (Lake Forest). She was also defeated 5-0, retired in the consolation round to Lily Schoeck (Augustana).
Ella Knight lost her first match 6-1, 6-2 to MJ Campos (Lake Forest). She also lost 6-1, 6-0 in the consolation round to Ashley Isaac (Wittenberg).
Maddie Hurley lost her first match 6-3, 7-6(3) to Gabriella Heideman (Baldwin Wallace). She defeated Jadyn Davis (Trine) 6-1, 6-3 in the consolation round. Hurley lost in consolations on Saturday to Sullivan Patel (Hope), 6-1, 6-4.
