Women's Tennis Defeats Anderson

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's tennis team improved to 4-0 on the season with an 8-1 win over Anderson University (Ind.) inside the Markin Center on Saturday. The Ravens dropped to 3-2 with the loss.

Kalamazoo swept the three doubles matches before winning five of the six singles matches. 

Maddie Hurley/Juliana Pullen won 8-0 at one doubles. Ivy Walker/Olivia Wolfe won 8-4 at two. Soussana Kimbouris/Molly Stevison won 8-3 at three.

In singles, Pullen (1), Hurley (2), Walker (3), Stevison (5) and Kimbouris (6) each won in straight sets. Wolfe was defeated at four singles 6-4, 3-6, 10-3.

Kalamazoo plays its first road match of the season next Friday, March 1, at Kenyon College.
