The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost 3-0 at home to No. 5 Hope on Wednesday.
After dropping the first two sets (25-13, 25-14), Kalamazoo challenged Hope in the third set before eventually falling 25-20.
Nya Greenstone led the Hornets with eight kills and seven digs.
Johanna Kupe added five kills while Kelsey Hill and Quinn McCormick finished with four kills apiece.
Alex Gothard had 19 assists with two kills.
The Hornets return to action this Saturday with a pair of non-conference matches at Hiram College.
