Volleyball falls twice on Wisconsin road trip

The Kalamazoo College volleyball team fell in its first match of the day, 3-0, to Wisconsin-Platteville.

The Hornets dropped the sets by scores of 25-20, 25-16 and 25-13.

Shelby Suseland led the Hornets with a strong performance attacking-wise, ending the match with nine kills and a .444 hitting percentage.

In the second match of the day, Kalamazoo was unable to come away with a win as it fell in straight sets to Carthage College, 3-0.

Suseland once again led the way in the kills category recording five kills against Carthage. Alexandria Oswalt also ended the match with five kills.

The Hornets will resume MIAA play this Tuesday when they travel to Albion College. The match is notably the teams' Storm Survivors match.
