Volleyball falls in three sets at No. 1 Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in three sets at top-ranked Calvin College on Friday, 25-9, 25-13, 25-11.

Kalamazoo led 10-7 in the second set, but the Hornets were unable to maintain the momentum to win the set.

Shamari Browning led Kalamazoo with four kills in nine attempts. Maria Katrantzi finished wtih three.

Kaiya Herman-Hilker posted eight assists while Dana DeVito had 13 digs. Paig Johnson recorded four service aces. 

Kalamazoo returns to action at Alma College on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
