Volleyball defeated in four sets at No. 5 Hope

HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in four sets at No. 5 Hope on Tuesday.

The Hornets gave the Flying Dutch a scare early winning the first set 25-20 behind five service aces in the set. Hope responded by winning the next three sets 25-9, 25-19, 25-10.

Sidney Wall and Shamari Browning each had eight kills to lead the Hornets offensively.

Paige Johnson had 16 assists, eight digs and seven aces.

Dana DeVito led the team with 22 digs while Kennedy Boulton finished with 10.

Kalamazoo returns home to face Olivet on Friday, Oct. 7 at 7 p.m.
