Suseland posts seven kills against No. 1 Calvin

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in three sets to top-ranked Calvin College on Saturday in the Anderson Athletic Center.

Kalamazoo played the visiting Knights tough in the first set before eventaully falling 25-20. Calvin picked up their offense and won each of the final two sets by a score of 25-12.

Shelby Suseland led Kalamazoo with seven kills and a .250 attack percentage.

Kaela Van Til added five kills while Shamari Browning recorded four.

Paige Johnson posted 19 assists with seven digs while Dana DeVito led the team with 11 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action at home against Alma on Senior Night next Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
