Volleyball drops home match to Alma

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost at home to Alma in three sets Saturday evening.

The Hornets looked strong in the first set before losing narrowly 25-23. Alma's balanced attack was too much to overcome as the match proceed as the Scots had four players with eight or more kills. 

Rachel Girard and Vanessa Vigier led the way for the Hornets offensively with six and five kills, respectively. Kaiya Herman-Hilker facilitated with 18 assists for K and Taylor Ferguson was a standout defensively with 20 digs.

Kalamazoo will return to the court at home on September 15th at 6 p.m. to take on Hiram as part of the Hornet Invitational.
