ALBION, Mich. - The Kalamazoo volleyball fell in four sets on the road at Albion Saturday morning.

In a match that began early due to heat, Kalamazoo took the first set 25-23, but was unable to build on the strong start as Albion captured the next three sets. Freshman Madi Goodman was a force offensively for K with 11 kills to lead the team. Shelby Suseland and Maria Katranzi each chipped in six kills as well. Kaiya Herman-Hilker orchestrated the Hornet offense with 27 assists. Taylor Ferguson and Leah Todd both recorded double digit digs with 16 and 12, respectively, to lead K defensively, but the Hornets could not overcome Albion's high-powered offensive that had 5 players record 10 or more kills.

Kalamazoo will return home on Wednesday to face Trine at 7 p.m.
