Volleyball wins in five at Grace Bible

WYOMING, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team won in five sets in nonconference play at Grace Bible College on Saturday.

Kalamazoo won the first two sets (25-21, 25-22), but the host Tigers won the next two (26-24, 25-22) forcing a fifth set. Kalamazoo came out with a 15-12 win to take the match.

Madi Goodman led the Hornets with 16 kills and a .433 attack percentage.

Maria Katrantzi recorded 12 kills while Rachel Girard had 10 kills and 14 digs.

Zoey Ammon led the team with 18 assists and five aces while Taylor Ferguson had a team-high 28 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to conference play on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 7 p.m.
