Volleyball falls in four at Alma

ALMA, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in four sets at Alma on Wednesday.

The host Scots won the first two sets 25-19, 25-16 before Kalamazoo rallied for a 25-21 win in the third set. Alma came back with a 25-14 win in the fourth to win the match.

Maria Katrantzi led the Hornets with 13 kills and seven digs. Madi Goodman added 10 kills and a .409 attack percentage.

Zoey Ammon recorded 32 assists and nine digs while Taylor Ferguson led the team with 29 digs.

Kalamazoo returns to action on Saturday with a nonconference match at Illinois Tech.
