CHICAGO, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team was defeated by Central (Iowa) in three sets on Saturday, 25-21, 25-21, and 25-23.
The Hornets were led offensively by Maria Katrantzi who had 11 kills. Shelby Suseland and Racehl Girard added 6 and 5 kills respectively.
Zoey Ammon contributed 18 assists while Maddie Wojcik had 17 digs.
Kalamazoo will return to action on September 7th for the MIAA Preview Tournament at Hope College. They are scheduled to play Hope at 3 p.m. followed by a match with Finlandia at 5 p.m.
Following the tournament, Taylor Ferguson was named to the All-Tournament Team.
