HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team completed their play at the MIAA Preview Tournament at Hope College with losses to Adrian and Albion.
The Hornets won the first set against the Bulldogs, 25-20, but dropped the next three 25-11, 25-18 and 25-22.
Senior Rachel Girard led the Hornets with 13 kills. Madi Goodman added nine.
Zoey Ammon contributed 19 assists and nine digs while Maddie Wojcik led the defense with 24 digs.
Albion defeated Kalamazoo 25-13, 25-9, 25-17 in match two.
The offensive attack was led by Madi Goodman with seven kills.
Ammon led the team in assists with nine. Wojcik added 12 digs.
The Hornets will host St. Mary's (Ind.) in a non-conference match on Tuesday, September 11. The match is set for 7:00 p.m.
