KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost its home opener 3-0 to Saint Mary's College in a non-conference match Tuesday night.

After scoring 22 points in the first set, Kalamazoo was held to 18 and 19 in the final two sets.

Shelby Suseland led Kalamazoo with 12 kills while Madi Goodman finished with 10.

Rachel Girard posted nine kills with eight digs.

Zoey Ammon had 19 assists while Grace Kraft had 17.

Maddie Wojcik recorded 14 digs to lead the defensive effort.

Kalamazoo returns to action Sept. 14 and 15 at Hiram.
