HIRAM, Ohio - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost in five sets to John Carroll University Friday evening at Hiram College.
Hiram won the first and third sets before winning the fifth set 15-12.
Shelby Suseland led Kalamazoo with nine kills.
Rachel Girard had eight kills with nine digs.
Zoey Ammon recorded 16 assists while Maddie Wojcik had 11 digs.
Kalamazoo returns to action Saturday with matches at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at Hiram.
