ELMHURST, Ill. - The Kalamazoo College volleyball team lost a pair of matches at the Elmhurst Invitational on Saturday, 3-0 to Coe and 3-0 to Elmhurst.
Coe defeated Kalamazoo 25-15, 25-16, 25-15.
Ann Lawrence had six kills. Molly Horton had six assists. Lizzy Rachiele had seven digs.
Elmhurst defeated Kalamazoo 25-7, 25-12, 25-18.
Ann Lawrence had seven kills. Charlotte Ruiter had six.
Rorie Dougherty had 10 assist. Lizzy Rachiele had seven digs.
The Hornets return to MIAA play on Tuesday, Oct. 5 at Adrian.
