TERRE HAUTE, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College women's cross country team competed at the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Saturday afternoon and first-year runner Lauren Arquette continued to be the team's biggest story.
Arquette led the way for the Hornets crossing the finish line in 10th place overall with a time of 22:20. She was just 16 seconds out of a top five finish.
Senior runner Sophie Roberts crossed the finish line second for Kalamazoo finishing with a time of 25:45.
Rounding out the top five for Kalamazoo were Anna Roodbergen, Mira Swearer and Cheyenne Allyn-White. They finished in 169th, 185th and 204th respectively.
The Hornets finished 25th overall as a team and finished higher than two Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association schools.
