In a release from the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's league office Monday afternoon, Kalamazoo College's Cheyenne Allyn-White was named the women's cross country runner of the week.

Running at the Eastern Michigan University Fall Classic on Friday, Oct. 21, Allyn-White led the team with a time of 20:50.1, notably her 5K college-best.

The previous week, Allyn-White ran a 6K personal best 24:39.7.

This is the first time in Allyn-White's career she's been named the women's cross country runner of the week.
