Kalamazoo College's Spencer Baldwin and Blake Bean were named to the All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the Marietta Regional Sunday night.
Baldwin, a senior first baseman from Lansing, Mich. (Holt), went 7-for-13 (.538) in Kalamazoo's three games with one double and one home run for a .846 slugging percentage. He also walked once, was hit-by-pitch and drove in six runs. In the field, Baldwin was perfect in 38 chances at first base.
Bean, a senior from Farmington Hills, Mich. (Orchard Lake St. Mary's), was 8-for-15 (.533) in three games while batting leadoff and playing centerfield. He had one double and one home run for an .800 slugging percentage. Bean drove in two runs while scoring four times. He also stole two bases.
Kalamazoo finished the season 27-13, the second-most wins in school history. After winning the MIAA Tournament, Kalamazoo advanced to the NCAA III Regional for the second time in school history, where the Hornets earned their first tournament victory.
