Bubba Wilson of the Kalamazoo College football team was selected to the All-MIAA Second Team as released by the conference on Tuesday (Nov. 15).
A senior from Muskegon, Mich. (Muskegon HS), this is Wison's third selection to an all-conference team in his four-year career after being on the second team in 2020-21 and the first team last season. In 10 games this season, Wilson finished with 29 receptions for 383 yards and four touchdowns. His 13.2 yards per catch average was helped by his longest career catch, which was a 73 yard touchdown against Kenyon. That was his best game this season after he totaled four catches for 98 yards and that score.
Wilson capped off a great career this past Saturday on senior day. He finished with 113 receptions for 1,397 yards and hauled in 13 touchdowns. His 13 scores are tied for the seventh most by a Hornet receiver in program history. The single-game highs for Wilson are 11 receptions (3/27/21 vs. Alma), 114 yards (11/13/21 vs. Adrian), and two touchdowns (11/9/19 vs. Hope).
The Hornets finished their season 3-7 with non-conference wins against Oberlin, Kenyon, and Defiance.
