Tosh Myles joined the Kalamazoo College football coaching staff during the summer of 2022, coaching the cornerbacks.
Coach Myles joins the staff after serving as an assistant coach for Portage Central High School for the 2021-22 season, coaching the defensive backs. The Mustangs were league champions in 2021 with a 6-1 league record and a 9-3 overall record. The defense held its opponents to less than 16 points per game, helping the team make it to the third round of the playoffs.
Before coming to Michigan, Coach Myles had two coaching stops in California with the FAST Youth Football League as a defensive coordinator and Escondido High School as the defensive backs coach. Escondido is where he played his high school football career, claiming first-team all-league, first-team all-north county, and San Diego All-Star honors. After high school, Coach Myles continued his playing career at Palomar College as a safety before moving on to the semi-professional teams in the Central Coast Grizzlies, North Country Cobras, and the San Diego Thunder indoor arena team.
Growing up in San Diego, Coach Myles is also a Marine Corps veteran, serving in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He currently resides in Kalamazoo.
