Jared Pittman joined the Kalamazoo College staff as an assistant coach in the fall of 2020. He is working as the offensive graduate assistant for the Hornets, specifically coaching running backs and tight ends, while enrolled in the graduate sport management program at Western Michigan University.
Jared graduated from Kalamazoo College with a degree in history in June of 2020. He was named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll in 2019-20.
Jared led the Hornets in rushing in 2017, 2018, and 2019 while accumulating 1,883 yards on 419 carries during his career. He scored 11 career touchdowns, including six his senior season. His 182 His 182 yards rushing against Finlandia in 2019 is the fourth-highest single-game total in school history. His 170 yards at Rockford in 2017 ranks eighth.
