KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee announced Tuesday that Calder Pellerin of the men's basketball team was honored as this week's Hornet of the Week.
Pellerin achieved a career-high in points in Tuesday's game against Trine with seven points and quickly set a new personal record with 12 points in Thursday's win over Olivet. Pellerin added a career-high six rebounds and sunk four three-pointers against the Comets. The senior ended the week with 6.3 points per game, 3.0 rebounds and 5-of-11 shooting from three-point range.
This is the first time Pellerin has received Hornet of the Week honors.
Kalamazoo returns to action on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at Albion.
