Lukas Broadsword was named SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee) Men's Hornet of the Week on Monday. It is his second selection this season.
A freshman guard from Boise, Idado (Centennial HS), Broadsword averaged 15.7 points and 4.0 rebounds in three games last week. He scored a career-high 23 points in a win at Alma, while scoring in double figures in each of the other two games.
On the season, Broadsword leads the Hornets with 12.5 points and 7.1 rebounds overall. In conference play, Broadsword averages 14.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
