KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team dropped its game at home against Albion on Thursday night by a 25-7 margin.
Albion took a 4-0 lead before Kalamazoo got its first goal scored by Jack Loveland. Brandon Wright also scored for the Hornets in the first quarter. Kalamazoo was outscored 9-1 in the second frame.
Kalamazoo scored back-to-back in the third quarter with shots from Wright and Jakob Torzewski. They scored twice again in the fourth quarter, both goals by Loveland.
The Britons outscored Kalamazoo 72-28 and held a 59-27 advantage in ground balls.
Jack Loveland led the Hornets with three goals scored. Brandon Wright scored twice.
Dylan Wickey made 20 saves in goal.
Kalamazoo is back in action on Saturday, April 17 at Adrian.
