KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jack Loveland of the Kalamazoo College men's lacrosse team was named Second Team All-MIAA on Tuesday afternoon following the league's conclusion of the 2021 season.
A junior midfielder from Saline, Mich. (Saline HS), Loveland was the offensive leader for the Hornets this season in several categories. He totaled 24 goals and 36 points, adding 12 assists. He averaged at least two goals per game with 25 percent accuracy on scoring, that number increasing to 53.1 percent when taking a shot on goal.
This is the first time being honored as All-MIAA for Loveland. Over just two full seasons with the Hornets, Loveland already ranks third all-time in single-season goals scored with 26 and third over his career with 60.
The Hornets wrapped up their portion of the 2021 season on April 23.
