The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team won 2-1 at Adrian on Tuesday.
Jared Georgakopoulos gave Kalamazoo a 1-0 lead with a goal in the 19th minute.
Kalamazoo led 1-0 through halftime and into the 64th minute when Nicholas Shabino made it 2-0 with a goal on a rebound after his first shot went off the post.
Adrian made it a 2-1 game with a goal in the 76th minute, but the Kalamazoo defense held strong over the final 14 minutes to secure the win.
Kalamazoo outshot Adrian 15-8 overall, including 9-6 on goal.
Dane Macdonell made five saves in goal for the Hornets.
Kalamazoo (4-1-1, 2-0 MIAA) returns to action at Alma on Saturday.
