KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's soccer team opened its spring season with a 1-0 win over Albion on Thursday night.
Senior forward Ben Meschke scored the lone goal of the match at 52:17, with an assist by junior Alex Wallace.
The Hornets outshot the Britons 17-5 with seven shots made on goal.
Senior Gold Afolabi attempted three shots for Kalamazoo, two landing on goal.
Goalkeeper Luke Kastran tallied two saves for the Hornets.
The Hornets are scheduled to play next against Alma at home on March 30.
