Jonathan Nord '18 joined the Kalamazoo College men's soccer coaching staff prior to the 2018 season.
Prior to coaching, Nord was a four-year letter winner on the men's soccer team at Kalamazoo from 2014-17. In his four seasons as a defender, Nord made 67 appearances with 35 starts. He started all 18 games during his senior season and scored his only career goal against Olivet in the last game of his career. Nord was a four-time MIAA Academic Honor Roll member and was also a part of Alpha Lambda Delta. After his senior year, he went on to play one season with the Kalamazoo Football Club.
Along with being a men's soccer assistant coach, Nord also works in the Office of Admission here at Kalamazoo. He gained his bachelor's degree in business with a minor in psychology before moving on to the University of Michigan where he graduated with a master's in sport management. Nord currently resides in Kalamazoo with his Newfoundland, Lewis.
