The Kalamazoo College men's tennis team and six individual players earned academic honors through the Intercollegiate Tennis Association this week.
The team earned ITA All-Academic Team honors by achieving a cumulative GPA of 3.20 or higher.
Adnan Alousi, Peter Fitzgerald, Casey Johnson, Ian Yi, Parker Foster and Lukas Hultberg earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors by meeting the criteria of being a varsity letter winner with a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the current academic year.
The women's tennis team finished the 2021-22 season with an overall record of 14-8 while winning the MIAA regular season championship with a 7-0 league record. The Hornets also won the MIAA Tournament championship and advanced to the second round of the NCAA III Championships.
