Women's Basketball Defeated by Albion

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's basketball team lost 78-36 to Albion College Wednesday evening inside Anderson Athletic Center.

Albion took the lead with a 28-0 scoring run in the first quarter and kept the advantage throughout the game. The Brits shot 50.8 percent overall while limiting Kalamazoo to 21 percent shooting. Kalamazoo turned the ball over 20 times while Albion committed 23 turnovers. The Hornets held the advantage in free-throw accuracy, sinking 7-of-10 (70 percent). 

Isabelle Clark led the Hornets with 13 points and three rebounds. 

Christiana Hunt was the only other Kalmazoo player to score in the double-digits, tallying 11 points with five rebounds, three steals, and two assists.

The Hornets are on the road this Saturday for a conference matchup against Alma at 3 p.m.
