Jessica (Rapelje) Rauch joined the Kalamazoo College women's basketball coaching staff in 2011-12.
Originally from Haslett, Mich., Rauch graduated from Albion College in 2007 with a degree in physical education and health. During college, Rauch played for the Britons in 2003-2004 and ran the intramural programs. She also coached junior varsity girls' basketball at Albion High School. Rauch was an assistant women's basketball coach for the Albion college junior varsity and varsity programs in 2006-2007.
Rauch completed her master's of education degree at Western Michigan University in 2009. While a student at WMU, Rauch worked as a graduate assistant in the Health, Physical Education and Recreation Department teaching an undergraduate health and wellness class. She also coached eighth grade girls' basketball at Portage Central.
Rauch is currently a program associate at the Battle Creek Community Foundation in Battle Creek, Mich. She also spends a lot of her free time volunteering for Area 16 Unified Special Olympics, Kalamazoo Public Schools, and APEX Academy.
She resides in Kalamazoo with her Husband, Dexter.
