Bryan Goyings was named part-time head women's soccer coach on April 12, 2008. On February 11, 2010, Goyings was named the program's first full-time women's soccer coach and athletic department recruiting coordinator. In addition to coaching, Goyings currently helps plan special events within the athletics department.

Bryan Goyings coaching soccer at Kalamazoo College. Coach Goyings has coached 10 Hornets to All-Region honors, three Academic All-Americans, two NCAA Postgraduate Scholars, and two MIAA Senior Sportswomen of the Year.

In just his second season at the helm, Goyings led the Hornets to an 8-6-5 overall record (5-2-1 MIAA) in 2009 and the Hornets advanced to the MIAA Tournament Championship. The Hornets finished third in the MIAA during his third season and advanced to the MIAA Tournament Semifinals. The Hornets finished third in the MIAA for the third straight season in 2011 and competed in the MIAA Tournament Semifinals.

Goyings led the team to a 14-5-2 overall record in 2014 before leading the team to an MIAA championship in 2016 (13-4-3 overall / 12-2-2 MIAA).

A 2004 graduate of Kalamazoo College, Goyings joined the women’s soccer coaching staff in 2006 as an assistant coach and helped lead the team to a third-place finish in the MIAA in 2007. He took over as head coach in April of 2008.

Originally from Jackson, Mich., Goyings is a graduate of Lumen Christi High School. He currently holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “A” License. Goyings also holds a United Soccer Coaches (USC) Premier Diploma and Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.

Goyings has also been actively involved at various camps and working with the Olympic Development Program in Michigan, training and developing the highest level of youth soccer in the state. Since 2014 Goyings has been a member of the coaching education staff for the Michigan State Youth Soccer Association. In 2019 Goyings earned a U.S. Soccer Grassroots Instructor's License and leads both the U.S. Soccer Grassroots In-Person Courses and the National "D" License several times each year.

As a student at Kalamazoo College, Goyings was a four-year letter winner for the Hornets (2000-03). He was a defender on three MIAA championship teams and two NCAA Division III tournament teams and scored four goals his senior season.

Following graduation from Kalamazoo College, Goyings became heavily involved as a coach in the local youth soccer scene including stints as the assistant boys' varsity coach at Plainwell High School and time as a staff coach for the Portage Lightning Soccer Club.
