GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team is in fourth place after the first day of competition at the MIAA Championships at Calvin.

Kalamazoo swimmers and divers finished fourth in four events on Thursday. Molly Roberts was fourth in the 200 Butterfly with a time of :57.83. Olivia Anderson was fourth in the 200 Backstroke with a time of 2:10.47. Sarah Densham finished fourth in the 1-meter Diving event with a score of 347.35. Finishing off the night was a fourth-place finish by the 400 Medley Relay team of Olivia Anderson, Ryan Drew, Molly Roberts, and Mya Richter (4:09.26).
Other notable finishes included Molly Roberts (5th, 200 Backstroke, 2:11.08) and Mary Trimble (7th, 500 Freestyle, 5:21.57).
The championship meet is scheduled to conclude on Saturday at Calvin.
