HOLLAND, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College women's swimming and diving team finished fourth at the MIAA Championships at the Holland Aquatic Center Feb. 16-19.
Saturday, Feb. 19
Mary Trimble finished third in the 1650 Freestyle with a time of 18:02.21.
Eve Petrie was third in 1M Diving (409.25). Sam Vande Pol was fourth (397.85), while Sofie Santos was seventh (341.30).
The 400 Free Relay also finished fourth with a time of 3:40.42 (Mary Trimble, Camille Misra, Farah Ghazal, Mya Richter).
Olivia Anderson finished eighth in the 200 Backstroke (2:16.44).
Friday, Feb. 18
The 200 Medley Relay finished fourth with a time of 1:51.93 (Camille Misra, Emily Tenniswood, Ella Palacios, Mary Trimble).
Camille Misra was fith in the 100 Backstroke (58.78), while Mary Trimble finished sixth in the 200 Freestyle (1:57.25).
Thursday, Feb. 17
Eve Petrie's second-place finish in the 3M Diving event with a score of 426.35 was the Hornets' top finish of the night. Sam Vande Pol finished sixth in the event with a score of 367.25.
The 200 Free Relay finished fourth with a time of 1:39.45 (Mya Richter, Kelsey Logsdon, Farah Ghazal, Camille Misra). The 400 Medley Relay also finished fourth in 4:10.28 (Camille Misra, Emily Tenniswood, Katie Larick, Mary Trimble).
Mary Trimble was fifth in the 500 Freestyle (5:12.51) while Camille Misra was eighth in the 50 Freestyle (24.69).
Wednesday, Feb. 16
The 800 Free Relay team finished fifth with a time of 8:01.60 in the only scored event of the evening. (Mary Trimble, Farah Ghazal, Kelsey Logsdon, Lizzy Sibler).
