WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost 7-3 to Allegheny College at historic Chain of Lakes Stadium on Tuesday.

Allegheny led 3-0 after three innings before Kalamazoo got on the board with a run in the bottom of the fourth inning.

The Gators added two more runs in the sixth to go up 5-1 before a Connor Grant 2-run home run in the eighth made it a 5-3 game.

Allegheny scored two more in the ninth before retiring the Hornets in order to end the game.

David Kracht, Jack Clark, Jordan Wiley and Grant each had a hit in the game. Todd Bonnivier also drove in a run.

Kalamazoo is scheduled to play its final game in Florida Wednesday morning against New Paltz State at 9 a.m.
