RICHMOND, Ind. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team lost the series finale 7-5 at Earlham College on Sunday.
Kalamazoo again scored the first run of the game, but Earlham quickly tied and pulled ahead 2-1 after two innings. Kalamazoo evened the score in the third and took a 4-2 lead after five innings. Earlham scored four runs in the sixth to regain the lead and held on through the end.
The host Quakers remained undefeated (11-0) while outhitting Kalamazoo 11-6 in the contest.
Stefan Leclerc had a pair of hits with a double and two RBIs. Chase Coselman also had two hits.
Jordan Wiley singled and walked twice while scoring three runs and stealing five bases.
Kalamazoo is off until March 22 when the Hornets open the MIAA season with a doubleheader at Trine.
