KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association announced Monday afternoon that Chase Coselman of the Kalamazoo College baseball team was honored as this week's Player of the Week.

Coselman helped guide the Kalamazoo offense to a total of 21 runs and a doubleheader sweep of Albion over the weekend. In the first game, he had two hits at the number-three spot in the lineup. In the 11-1 afternoon win, Coselman had a hit, drove in three runs, drew two walks, and scored twice for the Hornets. He ended the afternoon with a fielding percentage of 1.000 and a .750 batting average.

Prior to the shortened 2020 season, Coselman led the Hornets in hits, batting average, runs, doubles, and home runs. He was also second on the team in RBIs, triples, stolen bases and walks.

Kalamazoo next hosts Trine for a non-conference doubleheader on Saturday, March 13. Games are currently scheduled for 12 p.m. and 3 p.m.
