Coselman Named MIAA Player of the Week

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Chase Coselman of the Kalamazoo College baseball team was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. 

Coselman led the Hornets over the weekend in their 10-7 victory over Calvin with four hits, going four-for-five at the plate. He tallied two singles, a double and a triple along with one RBI and three runs scored for the offense. He ended the day with an .800 batting average and a near-perfect fielding percentage. 

Coselman totals 11 hits and five RBI so far in his senior year, batting .407 overall. This is his second time this season being named Player of the Week. 

Kalamazoo improved to 10-2 with the win. Kalamazoo and Calvin will face each other four more times this week with a pair of conference doubleheaders scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
