KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College baseball team swept Olivet in a non-conference doubleheader at Woodworth Field on Wednesday.
Game One
Kalamazoo won the opener, 8-6. Each team had nine hits in the game.
Blake Bean, Doug Propson, and Ben Chosid each had two hits in the game. Propson drove in two runs while Chosid doubled and scored twice.
Amani Karim also had a double.
Alex Bowden struck out four in three innings in the start and win. Jack Brockhaus came on in the seventh for the save.
Game Two
Kalamazoo won the second game, 7-2. Kalamazoo had seven hits in the game while holding Olivet to just two.
Lukas Bolton was 2-for-2. Cooper Mills was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Austin Duff had a triple. Doug Propson singled, walked twice, drove in a run, and scored three times.
Adam Dorstewitz struck out one while not allowing a hit or a run in three innings in the start. Cade Thune struck out three in one inning of relief.
