With 176 yards rushing against Hope on Saturday, Dimeko Price became Kalamazoo College's all-time career rushing leader with 2,679 yards. The previous record was 2,564 yards set by Dwight White in 2003 (2000-03).
Price, a senior from Battle Creek (Lakeview), was tied for second place all-time with 2,503 yards entering Saturday's contest. Dennis Kane (1971-74) held the school record with 2,503 yards (1971-74) until White broke the record in 2003.
Price's 176 yards on Saturday is the third-highest single game total in school history. Ed Lauermann rushed for 271 yards against Kenyon College in 1963 while Roger Winter rushed for 250 yards in a game in 1951.
In addition to holding the career rushing record, Price set the single-season rushing record with 943 yards in 2010. He currently has 659 yards with three games remaining this season.
