Kalamazoo College's Octavius Sanders was selected to the D3football.com All-North Region Third Team on Monday.
A senior cornerback from Martin Luther King High School in Detroit, Mich., Sanders finished the 2015 season with five interceptions, tied for the most in the MIAA. Three of his interceptions were returned for touchdowns, including two against Hope in the Hornets' season finale. He also recorded 42 tackles, four of which were for a loss, and 12 pass breakups.
Sanders was an All-MIAA first team selection in 2015 and 2013. He was named MIAA Defensive Player of the Week and was selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week following the season-ending win over Hope.
