MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Due to wet and slick floor conditions Saturday evening, the Kalamazoo College men's basketball game at Rhodes College was suspended at halftime.
A drop in temperature from 70 degrees to 35 degrees from Friday to Saturday caused the Rhodes gymnasium to develop a humid atmosphere and slick floor conditions. Player safety was the deciding factor.
The game will not be made up or continued and will be credited as no contest for each team.
Pending gym conditions improve, Kalamazoo is scheduled to play Monmouth at Rhodes tomorrow afternoon at 1 p.m.
