KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Jeremiah Vincent of the Kalamazoo College men's basketball team was honored Tuesday as the Athletic Leadership Council's (ALC) Hornet of the Week.
Vincent, a sophomore guard from Kalamazoo (Kalamazoo Central HS), averaged 19.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 2.0 assists in three games to begin the season last week.
Vincent recorded career highs in points (29) and rebounds (9) along with three assists in Kalamazoo's 114-93 win over Concordia Chicago in the season opener last Monday. He scored 23 points with seven rebounds and two assists in a 102-79 win over Manchester on Friday.
Vincent currently ranks fifth in the MIAA in scoring and fourth in rebounding.
Kalamazoo (2-1) returns to action later this week as the Hornets host Lawrence Tech on Friday, Nov. 23 at 5 p.m. and Centre on Saturday, Nov. 24 at 1 p.m.
