KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Kalamazoo College men's basketball team dropped its game with Benedictine Monday night by a final score of 69-62.

It was a back and forth game for much of the first half as the teams swapped leads five times and the score was tied at seven different instances.

The Eagles came out of the halftime break up 33-32 and took control from there. Kalamazoo was outscored by six points in the second half and was unable to take a lead in the period.

The Hornets shot 28.1 percent from the field this evening while the Eagles connected on 44.4 percent of their shots.

Kalamazoo was led offensively by Ben Reiter's 18 points. The junior also added five steals on the defensive end.

Drake Thompson contributed nine points and eight rebounds. Bass Ollie also had nine points on the night.

The Hornets travel to Case Western Reserve on Saturday for a 4 p.m. tipoff with the Spartans.
